1. Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between:LUMY.MEDIA SAS, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €2,000, registered with the Brest Trade Register under number B 889 608 790, with registered office at Quai de la Douane, Bâtiment LE GRAND LARGE, 29200 Brest, France (hereinafter "Louez.io" or "the Provider")andAny natural or legal person subscribing to the service (hereinafter "the Client")for the provision of the SaaS rental management platform service accessible at app.louez.io.
2. Service Description
Louez.io is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform enabling professionals and individuals to manage their equipment rental business. The service includes:Features included for every store:- Creation and customization of an online store- Rental product catalog management- Reservation and calendar management- Automatic rental contract generation (PDF)- Rental contract signature at booking: a renter who books online accepts the Client's rental terms, which counts as signing their contract, with no separate step- Customer management- Online payment and deposit management- Statistics and dashboards- Dedicated customer portalUsage-based services:- Automatic SMS sending- Artificial intelligence creditsreeent marketplace (optional):The Client may publish their catalog on reeent, a consumer marketplace where renters book and pay online. The channel is turned on and off from the application, under the terms accepted when it is turned on.
3. Plans and Pricing
Stores created on or after November 3, 2026:Creating a store is free. The Client chooses one of the two formulas below.1) Pay-as-you-go (default formula)There is no subscription, no fixed fee on the store and no minimum: a month without rentals costs nothing. Louez.io charges a commission of 4% including VAT on rental money: the rental price, its extensions and the price adjustments the Client records. The commission is calculated on the amount the renter pays, VAT included. Its rate is the same in every country. All the features in article 2 are included, with unlimited products and collaborators.Outside the commission:- Deposits, whether collected, held as a card authorization or captured- Breakage and damage fees charged to the renter- Insurance taken out by the renter2) Monthly subscriptionThe Client may instead subscribe to a Pro or Ultra plan, at the prices below. No commission is then charged on rentals.- Pro — €49 excl. VAT/month: up to 50 products, 2 collaborator accounts, online payment and deposit, automatic SMS, customer portal, priority support, detailed statistics.- Ultra — €159 excl. VAT/month: unlimited products and collaborators, all Pro features, custom domain, review booster, phone support, dedicated account manager.Subscriptions are monthly and without commitment. Their prices are exclusive of tax: the applicable VAT is added at billing.Changing formula:The Client may take out a subscription, change it or cancel it at any time from their account area, under the conditions of articles 5 and 6. When the subscription of a store created on or after November 3, 2026 ends, the store goes back to pay-as-you-go.reeent marketplace fee:Each booking from the reeent marketplace carries a fee of €1 including VAT, whichever the formula, on top of the commission where one applies. This fee is waived for life for the first 1,000 stores published on reeent. It is not owed for a booking cancelled without payment, or cancelled and refunded in full.Stripe fees:Online payments go through Stripe. Stripe's fees, charged at its rates, are borne by the Client whichever the formula, and come on top of the commission where one applies.Usage-based services:SMS and artificial intelligence credits are bought as top-ups in the application, at the price shown at the time of purchase.Stores created before November 3, 2026:These stores keep the pricing that applied to them on that date, pay-per-reservation or subscription, as shown in their account area. It applies until Louez.io announces a change under the conditions of article 5. They can still take out, change or cancel a Pro or Ultra subscription. These prices are exclusive of tax: the applicable VAT is added at billing.Each store's offer:The offer is set store by store, by the store's creation date. A store created on or after November 3, 2026 falls under the formulas above, even if its owner has an older store, unless Louez.io agrees otherwise in writing.
4. Registration and Account
Account creation:Using the service requires creating an account with a valid email address. The Client guarantees the accuracy of the information provided.Account responsibility:The Client is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and all activities carried out from their account.Collaborator accounts:Depending on the subscribed plan, the Client may create accounts for their collaborators. The Client remains responsible for the use of the service by their collaborators.
5. Payment
Commission on online payments:When the renter pays online, the commission is taken at the time of payment, through Stripe, as an application fee. The rest of the payment reaches the Client's Stripe account.Monthly invoice:The commission on payments received offline (cash, card terminal, bank transfer) and on the unpaid part of a confirmed reservation, and any fee not taken at payment, are invoiced once a month. The invoice is charged to the bank card the Client has saved or, failing that, payable within the period it states.Cancellations and refunds:A reservation cancelled without payment incurs no commission. A refund to the renter reduces the commission in proportion to the amount refunded. If the Client keeps a down payment, the commission applies to that down payment. A confirmed reservation that did not take place must be cancelled in Louez.io; otherwise the commission is owed on its amount.Methods:- Payment by credit card via our secure provider Stripe- Louez.io may require a valid bank card to be saved to receive reservations and pay invoices- A subscription is charged automatically every month, on its anniversary date- A move to a more expensive plan is billed pro rata, as soon as it is made; a move to a cheaper plan takes effect at the end of the paid period- Electronic invoicing sent by emailPayment default:In case of payment default, Louez.io reserves the right, after an email reminder, to suspend new reservations or access to the service. Access will be restored upon regularization.Price changes:Louez.io reserves the right to modify its prices. Any change is communicated by email at least 30 days before it applies to existing stores.
6. Duration and Cancellation
Duration:The contract is entered into for an indefinite period, with no minimum commitment.Cancellation by the Client:The Client may cancel at any time from their account area. Without a subscription in progress, cancellation takes effect immediately. Cancelling a subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata refund is made.Cancellation by Louez.io:Louez.io may terminate the contract in case of violation of these Terms, after formal notice remaining without effect for 15 days.Consequences of cancellation:- Commissions and fees owed on the cancellation date remain due and are billed on a final invoice- For a subscription, access to the service maintained until the end of the paid period- Data export possible for 30 days after the end of the contract- Permanent deletion of data after this period
7. Data Ownership
Client data:The Client remains the owner of all data entered in the service (products, customers, reservations, etc.).Data export:The Client may at any time export their data in a standard format (CSV, PDF).Use by Louez.io:Louez.io only uses the Client's data to provide the service. No data is sold or shared for commercial purposes.
8. Availability and Maintenance
Availability commitment:Louez.io commits to 99.5% service availability, excluding scheduled maintenance.Maintenance:Maintenance operations are preferably carried out during off-peak hours. Scheduled maintenance is announced with 48 hours notice.Interruptions:Louez.io cannot be held responsible for interruptions due to external causes (host, internet, force majeure).
9. Liability
Limitation of liability:Louez.io's liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages, up to the amounts paid by the Client over the last 12 months.Exclusions:Louez.io cannot be held responsible for:- Indirect damages (loss of revenue, data, opportunity)- The use made by the Client of the service- Content entered by the Client- Relations between the Client and their own customers
10. Intellectual Property
License to use:Louez.io grants the Client a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for the duration of the contract.Open Source:The source code of Louez.io is distributed under an open source license. License conditions are available on our GitHub repository.Trademarks:Louez.io and its logo are registered trademarks of LUMY.MEDIA SAS.
11. Customer References
The Client authorizes Louez.io to use the Client's name, trade name, logo, and trademarks solely to identify the Client as a Louez.io customer on Louez.io's website, presentations, and commercial materials.This authorization is non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and limited to the duration of the Client's contract. Louez.io will use such elements in accordance with the Client's reasonable brand guidelines and will not imply any partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement beyond the Client's use of the Service.The Client may withdraw this authorization at any time by written notice. Louez.io will remove the Client's name and logo from public materials within a reasonable period.
12. Data Protection
Louez.io commits to processing personal data in accordance with GDPR and its Privacy Policy.Subcontracting:In the context of service provision, Louez.io acts as a data processor within the meaning of GDPR for the data of the Client's end customers (renters).A Data Processing Agreement is available upon request.
13. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held responsible for a failure to fulfill its obligations due to force majeure as defined by French case law (unforeseeable, irresistible and external event).
14. Amendment of Terms
Louez.io reserves the right to modify these Terms. Modifications will be notified by email at least 30 days before their entry into force. Use of the service after this date constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.
15. Applicable Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law.In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the dispute will be brought before the Commercial Court of Brest.
